Spinach Corn Cheese Balls

 

 

Ingredients

Spinach puree        : ¼ cup

Sweet Corn              :  2 tbsp (Boiled)

Garlic                       : ¼ tsp (Finely copped)

Onions                     : ¼ cup (Finely chopped)

Corn flour                 : I tbsp

Red chilly flakes       : 1 tsp

Oregano                    : ½ tsp 

Bread crumbs           : ¾ cup

Mozzarella cheese    : ½ cup (Grated)

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying

Method:

Mix together spinach puree, grated garlic, bread crumbs,corn flour, sweet corn and pinch of salt in a bowl

Now make a soft dough, cover it and keep it aside for later use

You could also add some more bread crumbs if you feel the spinach mixture is too soft .

In another bowl mix together cheese, chilly flakes and fine chopped onions.

Take small portion of cheese mixture and make small balls and keep them aside.

Now grease your hands with some oil and take portion of spinach dough and make it into small balls or of any shape you want.

Put some cheese in the center of the balls and cover it from all the sides.

Gently roll the ball and keep it aside. Repeat the same process with the rest of the spinach corn mixture.

Now deep fry these balls till they are golden brown in colour and look crispy.

Serve them hot with sweet chilly sauce or any other dip of your choice.
