Cookie Christmas Ornaments

Christmas time brings all kinds of festivities to life. Bakes and treats are the most famous. Why not keep the kids cheerful and busy with your baking skills...and also decorate the christmas tree, Sametime !! Lets bake some edible ornaments to hang on the tree, this year.

We need:

1/3 cup All Purpose Flour ( Maida)
1/4 kilo or 1/2 lb. Cookie Dough
Ready-made Frosting ( colorful)
Baker's twine

Procedure:

Knead the flour and cookie dough thick enough to make cookies. Using small cookie cutters or any other shape cutters, cut ornaments in shapes desired. With a sturdy straw, pierce a hole at one corner to hang as ornaments on the christmas tree. Preheat the oven at 350 degrees fahren heit. Place each 2" apart and bake in the oven for 8 minutes. Bring out the cookies and let them cool down. Now freeze the cookies for 3hours and apply the frosting you bought. Let the kids decorate these ornaments with edible sprinkles and glitter or let them write their names with some contrast frosting. Using a twine or thread hang these on your christmas tree or gift to your loved ones !!
