If the allegations made by Pedana MLA and Seemandhra MLAs Forum convenor Jogi Ramesh turn out to be true, it was a win-win match for not only India, but also for TRS chief KCR. MLA Jogi Ramesh on Friday alleged that the TRS president Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao indulged in match-fixing with the BCCI and collected huge amount of money to postpone the rail roko from the proposed October 13, 14 and 15 to 15, 16 and 17 due to the cricket match scheduled on Friday in Hyderabad between India and England.
Mr. Ramesh said neither Mr Chandrasekhar Rao nor the JAC chairman Mr Kodandaram have revealed the reasons for postponing the rail roko from the scheduled dates. Asked about the evidence possessed by the MLA on the allegations of match-fixing, he said that the evidence will be revealed at an appropriate time. He pointed out that earlier when rail roko was deferred from 9-11 to 12-14 KCR gave the reason that it has been postponed because of Banswada bypoll, but this time neither KCR nor Kodandaram have given any reason for the postponement.
