TRS president KCR’s sudden announcement of serving no-trust motion against ruling Congress government puts both TDP and YSR Congress parties in an embarrassing situation.Neither they can join hands with TRS nor they can stay away from it. Both of they have their own reasons to sit quite in this situation.

Congress ultimatum to Jagan loyalists inside the party hints that it won’t hesitate to disqualify them if they revolt against the party during no-trust motion. If, YSRCP tries to join hands with TRS, then its 9 MLAs inside the Congress will be at stake. If, they prefer to stay with Congress only, then it will lose them merely for nothing.

Hence, it can’t afford to join hands with TRS at this moment. More over, if it joins hands with TRS and topples Congress government, it has to face elections without its President leading it. At the same time, it even can’t stay away from its proposal, because it may strengthen the allegations made against it by TRS and TDP of having secret pact with Congress party. So, YSR Congress party is in a big dilemma in this issue.

TDP fears that in case if it joins hands with TRS and try to topple Kiran Kumar Reddy government, ultimately it will lead to an unholy alignment between Congress and YSRCP, which it never wants to happen. With YS Vijayamma’s latest statement of ready to join hands with Congress lead UPA alliance, TDP is scared to see any positive development in that direction. Hence, if TDP joins hands with TRS and topple Kiran government, TDP believes that it will provide a great opportunity for YSRCP to bargain and make a permanent pact with ruling Congress party, which may ultimately, brings out Jagan Mohan Reddy out of jail and make its job further tough.

So, it is also scared to join no trust motion with TRS. But, at the same time it can’t stay away from the no-trust motion, as it provides TRS a new weapon to attack TDP in the Telangana region. Hence, TDP is also feels cornered with TRS move. So, it is high time for the four major political parties to play their cards and win this political game.
