Kollywood hero Rajnikanth is facing a film like situation in his real life now. In many of his films, he thrills the people by earning crores of rupees with just one rupee investment, after being cheated by some villain or sacrificing his properties for a noble cause. But, the latest development proves that the same can’t be achieved in the real life and even may face a film like situation of auctioning properties for someone’s mischief or failure.

 

Exim bank has placed a notice intimating the general public about auctioning of his two acres of prime land to recover Rs.22 crores of loan amount (including Rs.2 crores interest) given to Media One Global Entertainment Ltd. during the making of Rajnikanth’s Kochchadiian movie.

 

The bank prepared for auction of Rajnikanth’s properties because his wife Latha has signed the bank guarantee forms for the Media One to obtain loan from the Exim bank. As the Media One fails to clear the loan the bank prepared to recover the same from Rajnikanth by auctioning his properties.

 

Perhaps, Rs. 22 crores may be not a big amount for Rajnikanth, but not in the context of two subsequent failures of Kochchadiian and Linga movies. No one knows how much he or his family member have invested in both these films. Let us hope he will manage to overcome this problem.
