Rajyasabha Member Chiranjeevi following the footsteps of his party President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi has adopted Perupalem village in his native Mogalthur mandal in West Godavari district. He said that he will develop the village within next two years with the MP LAD (local area development) funds.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes-up with this innovate idea to develop the villages in the country. He declares ‘Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana’ in which he involves all the MPs cutting across the party lines. Each MP has to adopt one village and develop it with the MP LAD funds kept in his/her dispose. So far, 344 MPs out of 545 in the Loksabha and 86 members out of 241 in the Rajyasabha have adopted villages in the country. So, Chiranjeevi also came forward and adopts Perupalem village now.

 

MPs belong to Congress, Trinomool Congress, YSR Congress, TDP, RJD, JD(U), AIADMK, NCP, LJP, JMM and many other parties from different parts of the country have adopted the villages. This is a testimony for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership qualities. He obliges all political parties join his program and take part in the development of the country.
