On Thursday, Chandhra Babu Naidu's Rythu Porubata Yatra entered Nizamabad district at Sone bridge and went through Bussapur of Balkonda, Mamidipalli, Govindpet, Devunipalli of Jakranpalli and Jakranpalli headquarters where a public rally was held in the night. Naidu interacted with farmers of Nizamabad rural constituency and enquired about their problems.

Earlier at a meeting in Govindpet village Naidu blamed the government for looting Rs 1,500 crore per year in the name of free power. He said the TDP government had not provided free power with a view to improving the quality of supply.
