Acne vulgaris is the medical name for acne which is layman terms could be defined as the is when there is a huge number of pimples together or near each other. The most common acne is the presence of blackheads, whiteheads, and other types of pimples on the skin together. While a pimple emerges due to a specific blockage in the skin pores. It is more or less like a skin lesion. The Sebaceous glands and hair follicles may often lead to the formation of pimples. Sebaceous Gland produces so much oil and it gets clogged by dirt. Once it gets clogged, it gets oxidized by air and that is how you get blackheads. Bacteria will naturally form underneath and that is how you start to get those painful bumps which are called pimples. Although mild acne may improve with over-the-counter treatments, more severe forms should be treated by a dermatologist.

 

Acne again could be of many types. If you have 20 to 100 whiteheads or blackheads, 15 to 50 inflamed bumps, or 30 to 125 total lesions, your acne is considered moderate. While a in severe acne the acne may turn deep red or purple. It often leaves scars. Prompt treatment by a dermatologist can minimize scarring. Dermatologists usually recommend prescription medication for moderate to severe acne. It may take several weeks to notice an improvement, and your acne may appear to get worse before it gets better. Any treatment for Acne to render effect takes a minimum period of two and a half to three weeks.

 

The remedies that could be to keep your face clean as far as possible. Washing your face at least twice daily eliminates excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells. Also quit touching your face with your hands often because your hands collect plenty of bacteria throughout the day. Avoid makeup as often as you can. And when you can’t, make sure you wash it off before hitting the bed.
