Tips to Maintain Glowing Skin

Having a glowing skin is what we want, but most of the time we do not realize that our skin reflects our lifestyle and our state of mind, even before we realize it ourselves. So, if we are in stress, or are tensed, the strain falls on the skin, and we lose its healthy glow. Diseases, hormones, and physical exertion also finds its way our facial skin to leave their marks.

* Have a glass of lukewarm water every day in the morning before your breakfast.

* You can also add a few drops of lemon, or a quarter of lemon, to your glass of warm water in the morning for release of toxins in your body.

* Eat nuts as a snack, nuts offer you the essential nutrients for a glowing face.

* Take few drops of lemon juice and add honey to it. Apply this mixture on your face and parts of your neck at least thrice a week, for that natural glow.

* Sleep: A regular sleep of six hours to eight hours can make a lot of significant difference in maintaining our health. Sleep helps you to relax your muscles and regain the lost energy, as well keep your face glowing.

* Hydration: Keeping your body hydrated with water is very essential. Our body contaisn a lot of water, which we lose out every day. If we do not replenish this lost water, our skin starts getting dry, and wrinkled, for both face and body. Daily intake of around two liters of water is essential to keep a glowing and healthy skin. You can also add fresh fruit juices to your diet to keep you hydrated.

* Exercise: Exercising at least thrice a week is mandatory for a healthy body. Do meditation every day, as it provides oxygen to the cells which boost energy, and calms your nerves. A brisk walk of minimum 20 minutes, thrice a week, would be a good exercise regime for your body.

* Food: Concentrate on the type of food you consume every day. Avoid too oily food, and balance your meals with proper nutrients every day. Add fibers and veggies to your meals. A healthy body will give you a healthy skin.
