Two Love Stories Disappointed Big Time
on Feb 12, 2016
Targeting the Valentines Day that is coming up on Sunday, today two Hindi films have promised some extra ordinary romantic entertainment. One is Katrina Kaif and Aditya Kapoor's "Fitoor" and other one is "Sanam Re" directed by Divya Khosla and featuring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautham in the leads.
"Fitoor" is the Hindi adaption of popular work "A Great Expectation" and it failed to attract audiences due to its cliched scenes and slow narration. While performances of Katrina, Tabu and Aditya are stunning, the flaws in the script make it a mediocre watch. Most critics have given somewhere between 1-2 stars for the film.
At the same time, "Sanam Re" happens to be a triangle love story between Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautham and Urvashi Rautela sounded interesting, but the whole narration and equations are cliched. Except the colorful visuals, never the story emotes stronger, connecting the dots. Critics rated the film at 1-2 stars.
That way, both love stories that are aimed to excite lovers on Valentines Day have disappointed big time.
