Will RGV revive Dr. Rajasekhar ?

on Apr 5, 2014

Let’s be honest , but It has been quite some time since Dr Rajasekhar has seen a visible hit and to top it all his financial problems have not been that great either. Once considered the Angry young man of the Telugu Film Industry with his fantastic portrayal as a police officer in Ankusam other films where he also received recognition and rewards for these portrayals, could not hold on to the mass appeal and slowly the offers dwindled and so did the roles. He went on to produce his own films which were not up to the mark in terms of story or production values and his coming-fashionably-late to the sets also added to the downtrend. He also tried introducing his daughter in a film along with a new youngster called Tarun Shetty, but that is all the news is we have and there is no further update about this so far. His last film Mahankali sank without a trace. Apart from that he had the Hindi actress Neetu Chandra tweeting about his drinking and coming to the set with gun in hand habit which was later taken off her blog.

The latest film to be released now is the Ram Gopal Varma’s horror flick Patta Pagalu , where the shoot has long been completed and needs to be released. This his first film with Ram Gopal Varma and his second horror flick after Kashmora in 1986. The trailer of Patta Pagalu will be released tomorrow and Dr Rajasehar is producing the movie himself. With RGV’s Rowdy released last Friday, it his next film and Dr Rajasekhar’s first  release for 2014.Now the question in hand is will RGV’s sagging fortunes revive his career will be known only when the movie is released.
