Mega brother Naga Babu’s son Varun Tej is coming back with a bang with his second movie. This time he has chosen a rather period drama that requires him to come up with massive change in his looks and body language. Because he’s playing the role of a soldier in this film.
Set in the backdrop of Second World War, that started on September 1st 1979, 75 years ago, Varun Tej is playing the role of a soldier who’s love story is set in his village. Talking about this role, Varun said that he has worked quite hard along with an ex-serviceman to get the body language and walking style right. He will be seen as Indian Telugu soldier fighting in Sector 1551 alongside the allied forces. What excited him more? “I’ve fired an original, real gun for this film. It happens to be Thompson Submachine, caliber .45 gun, better known as Tommy gun”, he shared.
Today the trailer of “Kanche” got released and the film will hit cinemas on October 2nd.
