Tamannah Pelli Choopulu With Vishal

Telugu super hit film Pelli Choopulu will be remade in Tamil as Pon Ondru Kanden with Vishnu Vishal and Tamannah Bhatia playing lead roles. Gautam Vasudev Menon has acquired Tamil remake rights and Senthil Veeraswamy will direct it. The film will go on floors soon.
Director Tharun Bhaskar made Pelli Choopulu with shoestring budget below Rs 1 crores. However, the film collected over Rs 15 to 18 cr share for full run. Aspiring actors Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma played lead roles. Few Bollywood filmmakers are keen on remaking Pelli Choopulu in Hindi. In fact, Salman Khan requested director Tharun to remake the film in Hindi. However, Tharun rejected the offer, as he was committed to do other film in Telugu.
Interestingly, Gautam Menon roped in well-known artists for Pelli Choopulu Tamil version. Let’s see how Tamil audiences receive the film!
