Telangana Saves Rudhramadevi, What About AP?

on Oct 8, 2015

Telangana state's Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao felt that "Rudhramadevi" movie directed and produced by Gunasekhar is a pride of the region. He felt that it accurately reflects true Telangana spirit and also the cultural greatness of the region.

For that reason, he has now given a fantastic offer to this film. T-CM made the film tax free, as he has given an exemption under a special provision. As today Gunasekhar and distributor Dil Raju have met CM KCR to discuss this aspect, they got this offer from him.

In the wake of Telangana declaring Rudhramadevi a tax exemption, what's the situation of Andhra Pradesh now? Will this neighbourhood Telugu state also declare an exemption in the same way? These exemptions will give Gunasekhar a quick relief to save his heavy bucks invested on the movie.
