Masss Rakshasudu Review story:
Suriya(Masss) was an orphan who was a smart cheater, earning money by cheating along with his childhood friend(Premgi Amaren). During the escape with robbed money, Suriya met with severe accident. After recovered from the accident, Suriya was haunted by the souls, who died without fulfilling their wishes. Masss who was earning money with the help of ghosts or souls, suddenly experienced an unfortunate incident. What was that incident? Is there any connection with Masss? was the main play of the film.
Masss Rakshasudu Review Analysis:
Venkat Prabhu’s thought and its execution was brilliant by connecting all the links with interesting narration. suriya used the souls to earn money which was really a different thought. With this innovative thought, Venkat Prabhu successfully generated all the necessary comedy. In the same way, Venkat Prabhu narrated the scenes so touchingly while Masss trying to fulfill the dreams of souls. Especially, these scenes may touch everyone’s heart mostly. He was nicely and smartly used all the characters and technicians . Especially, the way Venkat Prabhu has taken some scenes was extraordinary.
Rakshudu first half was purely the magic of Venkat Prabhu and Suriya along with comedy of Premgi Amaren. Totally, Suriya and Premgi amaren stole the first half with their performance, especially in generating humour. The Second Half was emotional with required comedy. Along with these ingredients, action also played its part,nicely.
Masss Rakshasudu Perfomances:
After Venkat Prabhu, Rakshasudu was purely one man show. Really Suriya has done extraordinary job by showing variations between the two characters,successfully. As Masss and Siva, Suriya put his soul into the characters and made them look awesome. Especially, Suriya performance as Masss was superb. Suriya showed terrific emotions after he lost his power to watch the souls as well as he did his best,when he came to know, ” Who was his father?” followed by the scene about his friend. There was only one word, Suriya was really outstandingly amazing.
Nayanathara and Praneetha done their best as per the demand of the script and the special role of Parthibhan was quite impressive. After that, Premgi Amaren successfully tickled all the audience and his character was worthy.
Masss Rakshasudu Technical Aspects:-
DOP work was outstanding and the way he showed the film according to the vision of director Venkat Prabhu was brilliant. Especially, DOP captured each and every frame lavishingly beautiful which brought Rakshasudu a rich and grandeur look. The songs picturized more beautiful and the tunes lend by Yuvan Shankar Raja was pretty good. Yuvan has done a fab job in the background score and by the way, Thaman’s title song composition was nice.
Final word: Rakshasudu is definitely a magic of Venkat Prabhu and Suriya.
