Srimanthudu Deal Sealed At 17 Crores

As expected, Telugu channel Zee TV has wrapped the deal of “Srimanthudu”. They have obtained the satellite rights of the film’s Telugu version for 12 crores, while Hindi dubbing rights are acquired for 5 crores.
With Mahesh Babu himself producing the film and spending huge time on the promotion, this investment takes just an one time airing of “Srimanthudu” for investments to be recovered. Though Gemini and MAA Tv are in the race for these rights, none are able to quote as much as Zee did. Celebrating its 10 years of arrival, Zee Telugu is literally on spree of bagging satellite rights.
It is also heard that very soon Mahesh Babu will give a special interview to Zee Telugu for airing during Srimanthudu release on August 7th.
