Saif speaks out on Pak actors issue

Following the September attack in Jammu and Kashmir which killed 18 soldiers. Raj thackeray's MNS party gave ultimatum to Pakistani artistes to leave India which left Bollywood in a split, with some celebrities speaking in favour of it and some wondering how it would help in solving the issue of terrorism. Talking about this Saif Ali Khan said, "This (cross cultural exchange) should definitely be encouraged. The industry is open to world talent, especially from across the border. But the government has to decide these things. "We are artistes and we will talk about love and peace. But the government has to take such decisions about law and who to allow to work here and who isn't," the 46-year-old actor said.

While veteran actor Anupam Kher said it is really important for Pakistani actors to say that "I condemn the unfortunate massacre of Indian soldiers". He added, "It is really important to say that 'I condemn the unfortunate massacre of Indian soldiers'. They (Pakistani actors) need to do that. We have always shown our goodness and friendship. "There are some people from Pakistan who are wonderful and are great hosts. But when it comes to my country and my jawaans (soldiers), I cannot be diplomatic. I'm biased towards my country."
