Karan Johar Troubling Prabhas

on Feb 23, 2018

Young Rebel Star Prabhas garnered nationwide popularity with Baahubali series. Post release of the film, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar who released the movie in Hindi approached Prabhas with a proposal of introducing him to Bollywood.

Although Prabhas was also keen to make his Bollywood debut, the amount he demanded to sign the project under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions stunned the filmmaker. 20 Cr is what Prabhas is said to have asked to work for the film. Karan simply cancelled the project. This bad experience with Karan is troubling Prabhas now.

As we all know, Prabhas is presently doing a multilingual film Saaho in Sujeeth’s direction. Makers of UV Creations have expected that the business deal of Hindi rights will be closed when the movie is on sets.

Although some portions of Saaho were shot, no Bollywood distributor is paying interest to buy Saaho. Karan Johar is rumored to be the reason behind no takers for Saaho. It is heard that, Bollywood distributors are not daring as not to face ire of Karan Johar.

If Hindi business won’t be done at the earliest, Saaho would be postponed, as per reports. Lack of funds is causing delay in production works, inform the sources. They have spent nearly 30 crores to shoot single action episode. We need to wait and see what Saaho makers will do now?
