SCOOP: What’s Wrong With Jr NTR?

on Aug 5, 2015

Taking decisions rather hastily is what Jr NTR is said to be. The way he selected directors who scored only hits and then tasted bitter flops through them is the perfect example. Apart from that Junior’s choice of stories like Rabhasa and Dammu are also nailed by critics always. Here is another debate going on about this talented mass hero at the moment.

Just a couple of weeks back, the remake-right holders of Tamil flick “Kathhi” have announced the release of Telugu dubbed version. This film of hero Vijay, where he featured in double role, and takes on the Corporate tyranny over farmers, their lands and water, got much acclaim. It was directed by AR Murugadoss. In Telugu, the film was shown to biggies like Pawan Kalyan to star in the remake but they rejected it right away.

At the fag end of this discussion, even Jr NTR’s name has also popped up and the youngster rejected it. Because, the film sounds little against the ruling governments and their proximity with Corporate companies in the name of investments. As the differences between Junior and Telugudesam Party are at peaks now, he has decided to not act in the remake. And then the makers got the film dubbed, Telugu version posters readied and they are to fix a release date only.

Now that hero Vijay’s another movie “Jilla” turned a hit at box office, Jr NTR has sent feelers that he’s ready to act in “Kathhi” remake. The stunned producer got the Telugu dubbed version release on hold and director Gopichand Malineni, a former associate of Murugadoss, is reworking on script to make sure that it will be a great commercial film rather than a message oriented one.

It’s a surprise NTR calling back a film once he rejected, but everything will be fine if it works out fruits at box office.
