Review: Shankara

on Oct 21, 2016

Come let us see if the movie “Shankara”, which has been directed by Thatineni Satya Prakash and which faced many difficulties prior to the release, has achieved success or not?

Cast and Crew
Nara Rohit played the lead role in the remake of the film “Mounaguru” which has been produced by R V Chandramouli. Actress Regina Cassandra has been casted against Rohit as the female lead in the film for which Sai Karthik composed the music.

Story
Shankara (Nara Rohit) is a senior student. He can’t bear if anyone is cruel in front of him. He likes his cousin Ananya (Regina). In a fight between the students and ACP (John Vijay), Shankara confronts ACP who along with other three police officers involve in a scam and proof for the same will be available with a prostitute. To find out how Shankara gets to know about the scam and the proof accidentally and to know the remaining part of the story one should watch the film.

Talent of the cast
Rohit didn’t gain anything new with the help of this movie but he looked slim. Regina looks like a teenager and there is no scope for her role. Rajeev’s role earned more marks than all the other roles. John Vijay’s action couldn’t impress the audience. As the makers took huge amount of time to release the movie the audience got an opportunity to watch the performances of M S Narayana and Ahuti Prasad.

Technology
Movie fans will not be able to remember Sai Karthik’s songs. Back ground music was average. Tathineni Satya couldn’t prove his talent and couldn’t show his style. He was not able to handle the story of the film which was already super hit at Tamil box office. After watching the film it could be said that, good story alone is not sufficient for a film to achieve success.
