Hard core RGV fans have something to be really happy about ! He is back this 2014 with the much awaited filmRowdy which has actors M Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu in the lead roles.
Speaking to TeluguOne about the film which he described as a fictional movie and nothing related to any real life character ,set in the backdrop of Rayalseema faction ridden area. The story was written keeping Mohan Babu in mind whom he described as a great actor and that he was a big fan of his and always wanted to make a movie with him. Describing the main character as a “Good Rowdy’ – a person loved by his people and who would do anything for them . How he gets embroiled in the faction ridden violence and that’s where Vishnu’s role comes in as his son who also gets entwined into this and this is where we leave you folks to go and watch the film. The film has all the RGV elements which are evident in the trailers.
Mohan Babu’s look is something to watch out for. Sans makeup and the hairpiece wearing cotton dhotis – his realistic earthy look has already been spoken about, liked and shared and which would probably take you back to his roles in the 1970s. RGV also shared that he had convinced him and asked him to show the new look to a few friends for a feedback but Mohan Babu was game to the whole thing and said that he would go ahead and affirmed his faith in the director that he was. Speaking about Vishnu who is known for his comedy and fun roles is seen in an out and out action character and he went on to share that Vishnu was actually a serious person in real life that actually helped in shaping his role. Jaya Sudha , Tanikella Bharani , Jeeva and Shanvi are also in the star cast and music by Sai Kartik with his haunting background music has already created waves in the market.
Set for a world wide release tomorrow the film has hiked up expectations in various aspects apart from the fact that it is a “Ram Gopal Varma” film and his first release for the year 2014.
