Sankranthi Outings Enjoy Another Week

With no new film is releasing this week, Sankranthi outings- Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150, Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni, Sharwanand’s Shatamanam Bhavati, will enjoy at box office for one more week.
Despite stiff competition, all the above Sankranthi releases have got huge openings and they will continue to do well for another week, until new films arrive next week.
Actually, it’s a deal in Tollywood that, except for big festivals, big films should not clash at box office and should maintain a minimum gap of two weeks for release between star hero films.
One more thing is that, most of the theaters in Telugu states are screening the sankranthi releases and even though few small to medium range filmmakers decide to release their films in the week, they don’t get theaters. That’s the other reason for no film releasing this week.
Peoples Star R Narayanamurthy who also released his film Head Constable for Sankranthi asserts that, his film was not given even a single screen in Andhra Pradesh, wherein it is being screened in several theaters in Telangana.
