Why it took so many years for a historical project like "Rudhramadevi" to materialise? Actually some senior film makers would have made a film on this subject long back, but none has done that. Finally it is Gunasekhar who is doing it. He has both produced and directed the film.
"Our male dominated society never loved to watch Rudhramadevi's story. Though I bounced this story to top stars like Jr NTR, they have asked me to work it out as a Gona Ganna Reddy movie with Ruhdramadevi role in a cameo. Even after I started producing it on my own, many warned me going with such a female centric script", said Gunasekhar.
Well, it's time to see his strenuous efforts turned into silver screen marvel that is releasing in next few hours. Good luck Rudhramadevi.
