on Apr 28, 2018

KT Rama Rao is presently serving as the Cabinet Minister for the Telangana State for different portfolios like Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Textiles and NRI Affairs.

However, KTR has special concern for textile department and is requesting film stars to encourage the usage of handlooms. Besides roping in stars to endorse textile department, he’s also asking them to wear handlooms for public events and in movies too.

KTR recently watched Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu and lauded the entire team. Later, he took part in an interactive session with Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva to promote the movie as it has got good message for people to receive. This program will be aired in TV channels very soon.

With request from KTR, both Mahesh and Koratala Siva wore handloom shirts for this program. Seems like, Mahesh Babu is overwhelmed with compliments for his dressing.

“Been receiving lot of compliments for the shirt I wore at our special program. Thanks @KTRTRS for introducing me to handlooms. The fabric is cool, comfortable and stylish. Totally goes with my personality :) :) 👍👍,” tweeted Mahesh Babu.

In reply, KTR stated, “Handlooms promotion has been a cause close to my heart. Many Thanks to you and @sivakoratala for extending support👍. Hope you’ll continue to showcase these stylish, cool and comfortable handloom clothes in your future movies too.”
