Legendary Director Bapu passes away

Legendary Director Bapu is no more. Bapu passed away today after battling illness for the past few weeks. Bapu's original name was Satthiraju Lakshmi Narayana and he grew up in Narsapur, West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh.Apart from directing films, Bapu is famous an artist, cartoonist, painter and designer. His films Muthyala Muggu and Mister Pellam won National Awards and Bapu was honoured with Raghupati Venkaiah and Padma Shri Awards by the Government of India. His last major work was Balakrishna, Nayanthara starrer Sri Ramarajyam, which released in 2011.
