Since the announced audio release date, May 31st, got boomeranged due to police not giving a permission, talented director Rajamouli was disappointed. He’s upset in such a way that he doesn’t even want to confirm the release date of the first part of his 150 crore budgeted project Baahubali: The Beginning.
Sentiments apart, Telugu movies have this habit of postponing a movie right a day before the release. It’s so unorganised that no one bothers to ask even though some small-producers cry foul at times. Coming to Baahubali, as the flick is simultaneously getting released in Hindi circuits too, Rajamouli needs to confirm a date for Bollywood. There we cannot make last minute alterations and resort to disco dance.
July 10th is the date, as confirmed by producer giant Karan Johar who is ‘presenting’ the flick in Hindi. Almost all the big Bollywood media houses are carrying the same date. So for now, this is the unofficial date of release of Baahubali in Telugu states too.
