Actress Bhavana Files Attempt To Rape Case

Actress Bhavana is well known to Telugu spectators with the films such as Ontari, Mahatma, Nippu etc. was kidnapped by unknown persons in the wee hours of today and she was sexually assaulted. A case of attempted rape has been lodged.

A group of men in a tempo traveller followed Bhavan as she was returning to Kochi from Thrissur in her car. The tempo hit Bhavana’s car near Nedumbassery International Airport in Athani. After a brawl supervened, the men in the tempo pushed aside Bhavana’s car driver Martin and got into the car.

It is reported that the men sexually assaulted Bhavana in the car for few hours in the city during which they took photos and videos of the actress. The gang finally dropped her at Palarivattom junction and fled away after which the actress herself drove the car to the home of a film producer who stayed nearby.

Driver Martin is taken into police custody as he is also suspected to be a part of the plot. Police said the act was planned two months ago by Sunil Kumar, a driver who was earlier employed by the actress. Sunil Kumar, who has criminal charges against him, was fired for which he is suspected to have held a grouse against the actress.
