Pawan, Why So Much Hungama For Heroine?

on Jun 23, 2015

Can you believe the fact that Pawan Kalyan has auditioned close to 100 models in Mumbai to cast as heroine in his upcoming project Gabbar Singh 2. After lot of hullaballoo, he found that Anisha Ambrose is the destined girl to become his onscreen pair. Reports are there now and then that Pawan himself is personally grooming this small-time heroine to become a starlet. But things went haywire it seems.

Director KS Ravindra has wrapped the first schedule of Pawan’s Gabbar Singh 2 and the unit is now feeling that Anisha looks perfectly a misfit for the role. Even Pawan got convinced of the same and he’s now planning to rope another heroine. One fails to understand why Pawan and Co are creating so much hungama just for the sake of a heroine. Because in the kind of commercial cinema Pawan makes, only he’s got a lengthier screen time than anyone. Also his heroines need not deliver some high octane heart-melting and stone crushing performances than those regular song and dance routines.

Had Gabbar Singh 2 banked on some known faces like a Kajal or a Rakul Preet, it would have helped big time. By this time half of the shooting would have got completed. What’s the point in auditioning so many new faces and not selecting one, thereby delaying the project? Only Pawan knows!!
