Ulavacharu Biryani can be rightly termed as the Celebration of Love. This movie portrays that love is not just between a man and woman but also between a human being and food. It unveils the connection between food and love which is a different concept. Like minded peple fall in love and their thoughts may be alike in various aspects. In Ulavacharu Biryani, it is Food !!! People are not afraid of lonliness and would not seek companionship until they meet the right person and the pain of losing that right person cannot be expressed. This is a universal truth which people tend to hide but Ulavacharu Biryani has portrayed it in elegance.
Prakash Raj :
This man proved himself as a versatile actor once again. Innocence, anger, love, sorrow, dispair and happiness had been balanced in perfection.
An intense role was carried with grace. No one could have done it better than Sneha for sure.
As a debutante, this young man did do a good job. There are no complaints since his role did not have different shades. He did do justice as a lover boy and a cheerful young man in his 20's.
Samyuktha again, had a very regular role to play. However, she did not give us a chance to complain when it comes to performance !!!
M S Narayana and Bramhaji :
These two actors played important roles in the film and that is making audience laugh !!! I bet they did it
Technical Aspects :
Prakash Raj is a man who knows to speak reality in a language of his own. This film also felt the same way but something that he could have taken care of, was the length. If a dish needs to be complete, every ingredient should fall in the right quantity. For Ulavacharu Biryani, it was the drag that created some difference in taste.
Hats off to Preetha !!! If one needs to explore what "Mouth Watering" is, they should definitely watch this film. She has done a flawless job as a cinematographer. If food could be filmed so beautifully, even a person on strict diet will skip their routine !!!
When it is Maestro Ilayaraja, music is a magic. One song in Kailash Kher's voice will run in our mind, even after walking out of the theater and it is addictive. Ilayaraja is the only man who can blend rythm with a scenario and he proved it yet again.
Tasty Bits :
1. Prakash Raj and Sneha's performances.
2. A Brilliant idea of blending love with food
3. Ilayaraja's Musical Extravaganza
Bitter Bits :
The story would have been picture perfect if it were a bit faster. Although, there was an intense and realistic thought, some factor went missing for sure.
For a slow and soothing movie lover, Ulavacharu Biryani is the right choice but if you are expecting for masala and speed, then Sorry It's Not Your Cup of Tea !!!
