Gopala Gopala Review, Gopala Gopala Movie Review, Gopala Gopala Review Rating, It took more than a decade for Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan to team up for a film. Pawan’s close friend Sharrath Marrar is making his debut as a producer with this film and Anup Rubens has composed the music. This film is releasing across the globe today with huge expectations. Let us quickly get into the review to know more about ‘Gopala Gopala’.

Gopala Gopala Story:

Gopal Rao (Venkatesh) is an atheist who runs an antique shop. He weaves all kinds of stories to sell the idols to the public. One day, an earthquake destroys Gopal Rao’s store and he cannot claim the insurance from the company, as they say that it’s an act of God. Gopal Rao has no other option left but to fight against God. How does a normal human being fight against a God? Does his hard-hitting factual statements convince the judge? Who helps Gopala Rao to succeed in his mission? All these answers fill the story of ‘Gopala Gopala’.

Gopala Gopala Analysis:

‘Gopala Gopala’ is a bold attempt and a satire against the blind-faith in our nation. The protagonist in this film is not against the God, but he is against the way that the people are believing in the Godsmen. One can witness the finest performance from Venkatesh and he is the soul for the film. Dialogues like ‘Murkathvaaniki Sainyam Ekkuva’ & ‘Nayakudu Ante Gelichevadu Kaadhu, Gelipinchevaadu’ will definitely leave the audience in some kind of thoughtful mood.

Logically questioning the existence of God is a kind of a new concept in Telugu cinema. There were a couple of scenes in some films, but the entire film of ‘Gopala Gopala’ revolves around the blind faith of our people. Gopal Rao doesn’t choose any religion and he questions Hindus, Muslims & Christians. A scene, where he explains about the wastage of food was impressive.

Teluguone Perspective:

As most of the people know, ‘Gopala Gopala’ is a remake of Bollywood movie ‘Oh My God’. In the original version, Paresh Rawal delivered a spectacular performance and Venkatesh was able to match it in ‘Gopala Gopala’. Pawan Kalyan’s dialogues are a major plus point for the film and the charm was speechless. After an entertaining first half, story starts to lose its tempo in the later half. ‘Bhaje Bhaje’ was supposed to be a highlight number in the film but it was shot in a very normal manner. In fact, Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan’s dance in the end credits was much energetic and awesome when compared to the song in the film.

Gopala Gopala Performances:

Venkatesh came up with another wonderful performance. His ease while uttering the satirical dialogues was a delight to watch. It’s a cake walk for an actor like Venkatesh to do the role of Gopal Rao and he has once again proved that he is one of the best actors in Telugu Cinema.

Pawan Kalyan’s smile in the film has everything to say. His dialogues were very well written and he added the much-needed charm for the film.

Posani Krishna Murali has once again excelled with his hilarious comic timing. Mithun Chakraborty made his debut in Telugu with this film and he has done his part. Shriya has got nothing much to do and the rest of the cast have done their jobs.

Anup Rubens has delivered a decent album and Sai Madhav’s dialogues are the highlight for the film. Other technical departments have done their job. Graphics could have been much better.
