Pumpkin Kheer




1 Cup          - finely grated Pumpkin

1 Cup          - Dates (seedless) chopped

1/2 litre        - Full cream Milk

2 tsp            - Poppy seeds

2 tbsp          - Sugar

1 tsp            - Cardamom Powder



In a heavy bottom pan add milk and boiled it. Then add finely grated pumpkin, dates and poppy seeds and cook it on low flame. Once the milk is reduced and the pumpkin gets tender, add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Then switch off the flame. Delicious kheer is ready to be served.
