Palak sweet corn sandwich




* 6 bread slices

* 1 cup sweet corn

* 1 cup Palak

* 1/2 cup corinder leaves

* 1 tbsp red chilli powder

* 1 tsp black pepper powder

* 2 tbsp butter

* Salt as per taste

For white sauce:

* 2 tbsp butter

* 2 tbsp Maida/ All purpose flour

* 1/2 cup milk

* 1/2 cup grated cheese


To make the white sauce, in a pan add butter then add 2 tbsp maida mix properly and add 1/2 cup milk and salt as per taste. To this add grated cheese and mix well. Now keep this white sauce aside. To make the filing for the sandwich, first in a pan add butter and add corn. Sauté it for 2 to 3 mins, to this add spinach and sauté for 3 more minutes. Now add salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and mix well and switch off the flame. Now add coriander leaves and white sauce and mix well. Now the filling in ready. Now take a slice of bread and apply butter and then put the mixture on it. Now cover it with another bread. And toast it or you could put it on a pan and remove it when both the sides of the sandwich turn golden brown. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
