Broccoli Paratha




* 400 gm broccoli

* 1 medium chopped onion

* 2 green chillies

* 2 garlic cloves

* 1 tsp jeera

* 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

* 1 tsp red chilli powder

* 1 tsp garam masala

* 1/4 tsp kitchen king masala

* pinch of dry mango/ aamchur powder

* 1 tbsp oil

* Salt to taste

For paratha dough

* 250 gm wheat flour

* Water to knead dough

* pinch of salt


* Knead the dough and keep aside. Now heat some water and add broccoli florets to it. Keep aside for 10 mins. Drain florets and grind in a food processor till it becomes grainy. Make sure you do not mash it.


* Heat oil in a pan and add jeera till it crackles. Add onion, garlic, green chilli. Saute till onion is transparent. Now add turmeric, chilli powder, salt, garam masala and kitchen king masala. and cook for 3 minutes. Add the broccoli and mix well. Cook on low flame for 4-5 mins. Let this mixture cool.Take small portions of dough and roll them . Put small amounts of filling in the center and pinch the dough up. Roll them out again to desired size. Cook on a heated tawa. And serve them hot with pickle and raita.
