Temple offers place for Eid prayers

Humanity would certainly show up from unexpected parts when a calamity occurs. Here is an example for that. A temple hall in Kochukadavu village of Thrissur district was offered for Eid prayers during the holy festival of Bakrid. Around 200 Muslim devotees entered the temple hall and participated in the prayers as the nearby mosque at Kochukadavu still remained in flood waters. The temple hall was also serving as the relief camp for the people of Kochukavdu and nearby Kuzhur village as well. However this is not only the isolated incident of communal harmony in Kerala. A mosque in Malappuram district has provided shelter and food to neighbouring Hindu families.
