Social network to impact the elections

 

The youth obsession of social media networks like Face Book and Tweeter can impact the forth coming elections reveals recent survey reports conducted by IRIS (Foundation and Internet and Mobile Association of India).

 

According to its survey conducted across the country, around 160 Lok Sabha constituencies may be impacted by the social media networks due to hyper activity of the youth in the relevant constituencies, in the upcoming elections. The study report reveals that out of 160 Lok Sabha constituencies, 67 will have medium impact of these social networks. More the social network users, more the impact reveals the study. There are total 256 constituencies in the country, where there will no social network impact at all.

 

The study encircled 17 constituencies in Gujarat, 21 in Maharashtra, 14 in UP, 12 in Karnataka, 11 in Andhra, 12 in Tamilnadu and 10 in Kerala, 9 in MP and 7 in Delhi, which may be impacted by the social network discussions by the youth in the relevant areas.

 

It has earmarked 5 constituencies each in Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana states and 4 each in Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Bihar and West Bengal states. So, it is time for political parties to wake-up and join social network to impress the youth if dreams to come to power.
