Guinness record for Modi foreign trips

Critics always point out that Modi would either be busy with his election campaigns or would be roaming across the world. The Goa congress cadre took the criticism a step ahead by nominating him to the Guinness record for “setting a record of travelling abroad”. Goa Congress General Secretary Sankalp Amonkar has written a letter to the Guinness institute to this extent. “We are overwhelmed and extremely happy to suggest the name of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has set the world record. He has correctly used the resources of India and had set the record of making 41 trips to 52 countries in his tenure of four years. He has already incurred an expenditure of ₹355 crore,” said Mr. Amonkar. However its doubtful whether the Guinness institute would accept the application as it would result in political mudslinging.
