to a food joint which is very popular among the teenagers and people
working in MNC’s. This happening joint is named ‘Roll
Call – Where Kolkata Beckons You’. ‘A Snack Adda’
is what youngsters call it here.
As the name indicates the whole idea
of putting this food joint is from Kolkata. Bengalis are fond of
eating and so tasty are the foods they eat.
When one walks in the lanes of Kolkata,
you would find these rows of stalls on the road selling Spring Rolls,
Bhelpuri, Fried Chicken and much more at a very cool price. This

city Rahul Maitra went to one food outlet and asked for a chicken

This place is not a very big one
but a very casual venue with 5-6 tables in it. The blue and orange
combination of the place gives it a very cool look and makes some
feel homely. The kitchen is transparent and one can see how the
lip-smacking roll is been made. The cooks are specially flown in
from Kolkata to add that original touch to the roll. The best part
about this outlet is the order is served quickly without allowing
many rats to stroll in our stomach.

surely, you would like to know the range of foodstuff it provides.
Well hold your saliva right back because the names that are gonna
appear might just let you drool in seconds now. Lets start with
the non-veg section, right from egg to chicken, fish to mutton mouth
watering rolls are made. The stuffing is done in a maida paratha
and not in buns. In these also, the variety you get is Tikka Roll,
Tandoori Roll and Kabab Roll. In the veg, paneer and vegetable roll
rock. The price range is from Rupees 20-45. These rolls actually

this place makes crispy Pakodas and delectable Moghlai Parathas.
The Pakodas list goes like Chicken Pakoda, Vegetable Pakoda, Paneer
Pakoda, Mutton Pakoda and Fish Pakoda. The Pakodas costs Rupees
20-40. The Moghlai Parathas are made with egg, vegetables, paneer,
mutton and fish. Usually, any Moghlai Paratha has egg in it. They
are priced at Rupees 25-40.
Moreover, for a dash of difference,
you can instruct the chef to mix and match the fillings. On whole,
this outlet provides you with healthy fast food assuring you a palatable
diet.
With many people going bonkers over
the delicious stuff of Roll Call, it has three outlets running in
the city presently – Begumpet-Lifestyle Building, Tirumulgherry
and Punjagutta. It is planning to open two more in the areas of
Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills.
