Story
A goon called Das (Srikanth) is very professional and spares no one to achieve his goals for his rich clients. Minister Kalarani occupies the lands of the poor in the name of Fab City and another local goon Dada demands her to pay him two hundred crores for the occupied land. Das on the other hand beats a man called Tagore, who is fighting for the rights of the locals. In these circumstances Das comes across a lawyer - Krishnaveni. who introduces him to the non-violent principles of Gandhiji and his life history.

The last words of a Street Player (Ram Jagan) who plays the roles of the national leaders of freedom struggle awakens the human elements of Das. From here begins Das's struggle in following the principles of the great soul of the Father of the Nation. He fights non-violently to remove the party flag from the Gandhi statue and silently bears all the violence thrust on his body. Without lifting his hand to beat anyone, he successfully removes the flag from the statue and it becomes his first victory against the misdeeds without using violence.

People begin to appreciate his change in behavior. Meanwhile, he comes across the son of Tagore, who fought for the landless. He stands in front of Tagore's house holding a placard bearing the letters "Please Forgive me". The stones hurled by Tagore's son and his friends doesn't stop him from achieving his target - winning theirs heart. Dasu takes up the task started by Tagore, fighting for the people who lost their lands to the government. Again minister Kalarani comes to the focus. A local party leader (Ahuti Prasad) successfully amends the differences between Kalarani and the local goon Dada (Jayaprakash Reddy). When the polices come to vacate the agitating people, Das warns to sacrifice his life by burning himself. This makes the hasty retreat of the police. Das gets admitted in the hospital. People begin to admire his leadership qualities. When the politicians try to bribe him, he refuses and demands them to return the occupied lands to them.

Das is about to file nomination for the coming elections. The minister Kalavati and her companions send a man (Uttej) with poisonous drink to kill Das. He forgives the man and tries to help him monitarily to start a business. That man feels guilty and   reveals the truth to him. What happens to Das and how he faces the wrath of the politicians and how the Gandhian principles help him to be victorious forms  the rest of the story.
Analysis
This film totally belongs to Krishna Vamsi. He spares no political party from his criticism. In the violence filled present day civilization, it would have been an unthinkable one to make a film based on the Gandhian principles. Krishna Vamsi fulfilled the wish of his long standing friend Srikant to direct his hundredth film and make it a memorable one too. Krishna Vamsi's directorial skills need no special mention and is well known to one and all Still here it needs a special mention as every frame reflects his magic.

TeluguOne Perspective
Action-: This is the hundredth film for Srikanth. He came a long way from the days of Khadgam and Operation Duryodhana. His acting skill mesmerises the audience and one has to watch it on the screen to enjoy it. Other actors of the film like Bhavana, Uttej, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ahuti Prasad and others did justice to their roles.

Music-: Songs of the film already became a big hit with the audience. Re-recording is well done.
Cinematography-: Sarath gave good support with his camera work. Kerala's scenic beauty is well captured in the song of Neelaven
Editing-: Neat and crispy
Dialogues-: Dialogues penned by Paruchuri brothers as well as Uttej, Krishnavamsi and Lakshmi Bhupal made the audience voice out their appreciation through claps and whistles.
Songs-:  All the songs are well written. Particularly songs like...Indiramma Inti peru kaadura gandhi.. and another song "...Jajjanaka.. jajjanaka" penned by Lakshmi bhupal reflect the pathetic conditions of the society presently.
Choreography-: Excellent.
Action-: Well choregraphed.

This film is a must watch for the present generation who consider Mahatma Gandhi's  birthday Oct 2nd as nothing but a Dry Day. The inspirer of great leaders like Nelson Mandela and Baraka Obama needs to be introduced tothe youth thru films like this. A must watch for one and all.
