| Story: |
The name Sasirekha parinayam reminds us the pure mythological Telugu story of the wonderful, classic film "Mayabajar." Coming to the present Sasirekha Parinayam film, our Sasirekha (Genelia) from the coastal area of Godavari, runs away from her home dressed up as the bride. She is angry with him because her father fixes the match without caring for her likes and dislikes. She bumps into a young boy Anand aka Abhimanyu (Tarun) who likes her and stands by her. The bond between them strengthens into love on their journey from Vijayawada to Hyderabad. Whether Sasirekha gets married to the boy of her liking or not ....watch it on the silver screen. |

| Analysis: |
Krishna Vamsi is already an accomplished director. Coming to this film, first half is better than the second half. The second half fails to impress the audience. The scenes depicting Sasirekha's love for Anand repeatedly, and scenes at Nagarjuna Sagar slows down the pace of the story. The introductory scene of Sasirekha is one of the highlights of it. The story pace picks up again in the climax scene and satisfies the audience.
Genelia finds it easy to play 'Sasirekha' as her character is similar to the Hasirni of Bommarillu. In other words its Jenelia's film. She carries the film on her shoulder. As the hero Tarun is left with least scope for performance. Ahuti Prasad entertains well with his Godavari accent. His frequent use of colloquial abuses sometimes troubles the audience. Subbaraju's role is equal to that of Ravibabu in 'Murari.' Raghubabu, amazingly gives a good performance of subtle humor. M.S.Narayana describing the drunkards as the taxpayers for the government could be appreciated by those belonging to the same clan. Others also supported the main character with their performances |
| Music |
Manisarma scored good music. Two songs are sure to get the audience tapping to the rhythm. Re-recording is excellent. |
| Cinematography |
Enjoyable and like a feast for the eyes. |
| Editing |
The film looks in need of editing of another ten minutes. Apart from this editing is good. |
| Dialogues |
Though a new writer, Undramatla Nagaraju penned down good dialogues for the film. Some dialogues depicting the greatness of women touches the hearts of the audience. Some of the F words were sensored, but the audience could make them out through lip movement is the only uneasy aspect of it. |
